Through pro-bono data access and expertise, it empowers non-profit organizations, academic institutions, and public bodies to drive positive change and accelerate social impact efforts. The initiative focuses on the responsible use of public web data to address critical issues worldwide.
Bright Data, formerly known as Luminati Networks, was founded in 2014 and became an independent entity in 2017 under EMK Capital. Leveraging one of the world’s most powerful web data platforms, The Bright Initiative supports over 700 organizations, including 300 academic institutions, offering data solutions to foster informed decision-making and impactful action.
